Dan, RN, BSN ASC Manager
Dan joined BSM Surgery Center in 2019 as part of the surgical team and brought 24 years of operating room experience. He started his career in the United States Air Force before moving to Oregon. Previously, he worked at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center as both an Operating Room Technician and a Registered Nurse. In his 16 years, as part of the Samaritan organization, he worked primarily with the Cardio-Thoracic and Trauma services. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hiking and backpacking.

Sonny, Surgical Scrub Technician & Material Manager
Sonny has been with Beaver Sports Medicine since January of 2011. His roles include Surgical Scrub Technician and Material Manager for the BSM facility. Prior to coming to Beaver Sports Medicine, he worked for Good Samaritan for eighteen years. Sonny enjoys spending time with his family; him and Pam have a daughter and two sons. When he is not working, he enjoys hunting, fishing, riding quads and wood working. His favorite places to be are at his cabin on the Alsea River or doing work at home on his tractor.

Eduardo, Surgical Scrub Technician, Anesthesiology Technician, and Sterile Processing Technician
Eduardo became part of BSM surgery center in November of 2012, filling the role of a Sterile Processing tech. Prior to this Eduardo dedicated seven years at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, four of those years as Certified Sterile processing Technician and three years as a Certified Anesthesia technician. After work hours he enjoys sharing time with his wife and two daughters. Eduardo is also involved at his church, Iglesia De Cristo Mahanahim, which he attends in Eugene as a member of their music group.

Emily, RN, BSN, CCRN
Emily graduated from Linfield College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Since then she has spent most of her time as an Intensive Care Nurse in the Trauma Surgical ICU at Oregon Health and Sciences University. She grew up in West Linn, Oregon and moved to Corvallis with her husband and two Dachshunds. Emily started at Beaver Sports Medicine in October 2018, working in the Pre-Operative, Intra Op, and Post Op areas of the facility. In her free she enjoys hiking, camping, yoga, snowboarding, and traveling. Emily's most memorable trip thus far has been an African safari through Kenya and Tanzania.

Jennifer, RN
Jenny joined BSM in 2013 as part of the surgical team. Previously she worked at South Coast Surgery Center in Coos Bay Oregon, and Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis. She brings 18 years of experience, with a focus on surgical nursing along with being a Licensed Massage Therapist. She has lived most of her life in Oregon. In her spare time she enjoys working with children at the local schools, spending time in the great outdoors and with her family.

Kennedy, CNA
Kennedy has worked for Beaver Sports Medicine since 2017 and transitioned over to BSM Surgery Center in 2019 as a CNA. She is currently working towards getting her nursing license. She chose to go into the nursing program because she enjoys helping others and interacting with patients. She wants everyone to live a happy and healthy life. In keeping with being happy she loves summer, swimming, and many other outdoor activities.
Amber, Receptionist
Amber has been working at BSM Surgery Center since the beginning of 2021. She attended Liberty University, on a basketball scholarship, and graduated in 2016 with a degree in Pre-Professional Exercise Science. Over the past four years, she has spent most of her time up in Alaska working in Physical Therapy clinics as well as an outdoor guide and Search and Rescue Volunteer. Amber made the move to Oregon in October of 2020 in the hopes of going back to school and furthering her career in healthcare. Besides work, Amber enjoys spending her time exploring the outdoors with friends and family, fishing, and going on frequent road trips.

Brandi, RN
Brandi was born and raised in the small town of Oakridge, Oregon. She moved to Linn County in 1994 where she spent fourteen years working as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. She recently graduated from Linn-Benton's nursing program, and obtained her Registered Nurse license in 2020. Brandi joined BSM in May of 2021 and works in the pre-operative and post-op areas of the facility. In her free time she enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Melissa, RN
Born in Maine, Melissa moved to Oregon as a child and considers Oregon her home. She graduated from Oregon State University in 1995 with a General Science, Pre-Physical Therapy option Bachelors degree. In 1999 she got her nursing degree and license. She started her 22 year career at Samaritan Albany General Hospital. During her time at SAGH, Melissa worked with a talented staff of nurses, surgeons and internists. Melissa was the charge nurse of the orthopedic floor when the 5 Star rated Total Joint Program began. In 2016 she transferred to the Outpatient Department, which became her favorite area of nursing. In February of 2021 Melissa joined the BSM Surgery Center team. She enjoys the camaraderie among the staff and surgeons. In her free time she enjoys gardening, canning, cooking, camping and travel.

Stephanie, RN
Stephanie graduated from Concordia University Portland in 2020 with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She has worked at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse after graduation and has since joined the skilled nursing staff at Beaver Sports Medicine. She has a passion for working with patients in the surgical setting and uses her compassionate nature to help alleviate patients concerns about their procedures. Stephanie was born and raised in Oregon, and when outside of work she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and pug.

Sarah, RN
A native Oregonian, Sarah graduated from Oregon State University and worked as part of an epidemiological team conducting a longitudinal study on familial breast cancer. Later, she returned to school to become an RN and worked as a nephrology nurse in an outpatient hemodialysis setting before joining the Beaver Sports Medicine team in 2021. Sarah enjoys meeting our patients and hearing their stories as she cares for them in the pre-op and recovery area. In her free time, Sarah can be found adventuring with her family: geocaching, swimming, trail running, or windsurfing.
